Language is a medium for conveying meaning, feeling, and will. As such, words and language have far more power than we can imagine. Wounds can be inflicted by the words we speak, but infinite warmth and peace can also embrace others in the words we speak.

Pentecost is about the Spirit.

Pentecost is about the Holy Spirit coming down and transforming our entire lives. Ultimately, the words we use can be the power to witness and bring others to God's liberating love and power. No longer a way to hurt and harm, but a way for God to reach out to others.
