Given the vast scope of duties and responsibilities carried out by the Indonesian Bible Society (LAI) in spreading the Word of God to the farthest reaches of the country, and in facing various challenges ahead, the entire LAI organization must unite, working hand in hand with high enthusiasm to continue serving, producing the best and highest quality works to meet the needs and expectations of stakeholders, namely the Church, Christian institutions, God's people, supporting partners, the government, the Foundation's governing body, and employees.
In that regard, the Indonesian Bible Society (LAI) has formulated four (4) values that serve as the pillars of LAI's work culture, namely: MELAYANI, INOVASI, TEPERCAYA, & KERJA SAMA (Serving, Innovation, Trustworthy, & Cooperation). These four values are shared values that have existed, are alive, and are believed to be essential for continuous application in LAI's work relationships, as formulated in the acronym “MITRA”, which means:
