On 07 February 2026, a brief meeting between the GMIBM Synod and the Indonesian Bible Institute was held at the GMIBM Synod Office.

The meeting was attended by: Dr Fekky W. Kamasaan, M.Th (Chairman of the GMIBM Synod) and Rev Johny K. Rumondor, S.Th (Vice Chairman of the Synod) along with Members and Youth.

Mr Victori E. Saetakela (Head of GMIBM Digital Department and Services), Ansye Wattimuri (Head of LAI Manado Representative) and staff.

The meeting took place in a warm atmosphere and full of collaboration spirit. The main agenda of the meeting was to discuss and share about the service programmes of each institution, as well as to follow up on GMIBM's need to develop a digital training programme for its congregation, specifically for teenagers and youth.

In the discussion, GMIBM expressed its desire to equip the younger generation with digital media literacy and utilisation skills relevant to church ministry in the current era. LAI welcomed the need and expressed readiness to explore forms of cooperation in conceptualising and implementing contextual and applicable digital training programmes.

This meeting is a strategic first step in building synergies of service, especially in strengthening the digital capacity of the young generation of churches in the Bolaang Mongondow region.
