As an extension of the Bible Society of Indonesia (LAI) in the land of waving palms, specifically in the regions of North Sulawesi, Gorontalo, Central Sulawesi, and North Maluku, which are its service areas, the Manado Representative Office is present to distribute Bibles and their parts to many people in need. Considering the potential of the Christian population in the Manado Representative's working area, which primarily comprises Bible users, it is important to introduce them to all LAI publications and inform them of LAI's work programs. This is where the Manado Representative is required to continuously share the vision and mission of LAI with churches, Christians, and work partners within its service area. Additionally, the diverse cultures within the Manado Representative’s service area are a great asset, and the presence of the LAI Representative is crucial, particularly in translating the Bible into local languages in the region. As a predominantly Christian area, support from the local government is expected for religious activities by faith-based organizations in North Sulawesi.
