Thursday, February 21, 2019, a seminar was held with the theme "History and Translation Strategy of the New Testament" with speaker Jadesmon Saragih, M. Th. on the 9th floor of the Bible Center Building, Salemba, Central Jakarta.

This seminar was the beginning of a series of celebrations for the 180th anniversary of GKE and 65th anniversary of LAI. The seminar was attended by approximately 30 participants from various Church denominations. Today's seminar explained many things related to the history of Bible translation in Indonesia, especially the Surat Barasih or the Dayak Ngaju language Bible and its long history that can be a provision and knowledge for God's people. We all know that the Dayak Ngaju Bible has been accepted and has a place in the hearts of the Dayak Ngaju people.

At the same time, an exhibition of the Dayak language Bible and Kalimantan cultural objects was also held on the 10th floor of the Bible Center Building, so that seminar participants could take the time to see firsthand the objects in the exhibition which lasted until Saturday, February 23, 2019.

Let's pray and support LAI in serving God's people through various activity programs. So that the word of God may be known, understood and comprehended and everyone may experience new life in Christ.
