Saturday, 8 January 2024, the General Secretary of LAI, Dr Sigit Triyono, accompanied by the Head of LAI Representative in Makassar, Diana Rampan, visited the East Indonesia College of Theology (STFT) Makassar. The visit was welcomed by the leadership of STFT Indonesia Timur. 

LAI's visit was in the context of friendship in the new year and at the same time renewing the Cooperation Agreement (KKS) between the two institutions. The renewal of this PSC is carried out in order to establish and improve the partnership between LAI and the supporting pillars of its partnership, namely, Keumatan Institutions, one of which in this case is STFT Indonesia Timur.

Representing LAI in the signing of the PSC renewal was LAI General Secretary, Dr Sigit Triyono, while representing STFT Indonesia Timur was STFT Chairperson, Rev. Dr Lydia Kambo Tandirerung, M.A., M.Th. Also present at the signing of the renewal of the PSC were the leaders of STFT East Indonesia, including the Vice Chairperson 1, Vice Chairperson 3 and 2 Heads of Study Programmes.

In the future, both parties agreed to strengthen cooperation in the fields of translation, education and various other partnerships, and will be continued with a more concrete partnership agreement between the two institutions.
