Matthew 4:23-25 ​​provides a comprehensive description of Jesus' ministry in Galilee. His ministry included three aspects, namely teaching, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven, and healing various diseases. All three are interrelated, namely to support Christ's great vision in reaching as many people as possible to receive the joyful news of God's salvation that He proclaimed.

News about everything Christ did quickly spread throughout Galilee and several areas across the Jordan, attracting the attention of many people to come with various needs. Jesus often taught in the synagogue, a place that was the center of the religious life of the Jewish community. At that time there was a tradition, where people who were considered honorable would be given the opportunity to speak. Jesus became one of the famous and respected figures at that time, so it was easy for him to get the opportunity to convey His teachings. The house of worship became the ideal place to convey new teachings. Jesus' presence in the house of worship was not only about delivering the word, but also involved dialogue and interaction. This allowed the people to ask questions and explore the meaning of His teachings. On that occasion, Jesus also preached the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven firmly and powerfully.

In addition to teaching, Jesus also directly touched the physical and spiritual needs of the people or communities he met. He showed His divine power by healing various diseases and infirmities. This healing was not only related to the physical, but also the spiritual, including those who were possessed by demons. This shows His miraculous work that touched and changed the lives of many people. He used the opportunity to proclaim salvation and prepare them to understand the true meaning of the Kingdom of God, not just be amazed by His miracles. So miracles are signs that lead humans to see the greatness of God's power. Unfortunately, believers today are often fixated on certain phenomena that are claimed as miracles by a handful of people. As a result, people can no longer distinguish between healthy and constructive teachings and teachings that 'lull' us to sleep. Everything is God's work that should direct us to the greatness of His name.

Bible friends, if we look into our own lives, we will easily find the greatness of God's work that is well woven throughout our lives. The recognition of God's greatness should bring us to a closer relationship with God. Our lives are a sign of the greatness of God's name, so it is only right that our entire lives become a means to show God's goodness to as many people as possible.
