The LAI early week service with PGI (Communion of Churches in Indonesia) this time felt special, because it was also a moment of gratitude for PGI's 75-year journey.

Happy 75th Anniversary of the Communion of Churches in Indonesia (PGI)!

With gratitude to the Lord Jesus Christ, we celebrate PGI's 75-year journey as a forum for the unity of believers in Indonesia.

Through the theme "The Unity of the Strong and Relevant Body of Christ" (1 Cor. 12:12–27), we are reminded that despite their different backgrounds, churches are called to unite in one body in order to serve the world in a holistic and contextual way.

May the PGI be increasingly blessed in maintaining unity, becoming a prophetic voice in the midst of the nation, and continuing to be relevant in responding to the challenges of the times with the unchanging love of Christ.
